ANNOUNCEMENT 

"AI4Biodiversity: AI Solutions for Nature" National Hackathon 

"Kitelab" science communication company, Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF), and "Women in Climate and Energy (WiCE)" NGO, in cooperation with the RA Ministry of Environment, are joining forces to jointly organize the "AI4Biodiversity: AI Solutions for Nature" National Hackathon, in preparation for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17) to be held in Armenia in 2026.

**💡 Note to participants and visitors:**

Hackathon NGO acted as a partner to the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF), providing the educational component on the topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and offering mentorship to participants in the field of AI and Machine Learning.

Within the framework of the hackathon, it is planned to unite young scientists, ecologists, designers, entrepreneurs, and using artificial intelligence, work together on biodiversity monitoring, protection of local ecosystems, prediction of climate risks, sustainable agricultural solutions, and community engagement.

Individuals with a desire to implement positive changes in the field, groups formed by scientific, public, private institutions, or interested persons can apply for the "AI4Biodiversity: AI Solutions for Nature" National Hackathon.

Applications from interested individuals and groups are accepted until September 21.

The "AI4Biodiversity: AI Solutions for Nature" National Hackathon consists of the following stages:

Stage I: From September 23 to October 8, applicants participate in 7 online training workshops on the following topics: Biodiversity and biodiversity issues, policy, introduction to artificial intelligence and tools training, promotion of artificial intelligence and startup mindset.
Stage II: From October 9 to 17, formation, registration, and selection of teams for the national stage of the hackathon. Selected teams will participate in an online training on pitching and public speaking.
Stage III: October 25: National stage of the hackathon, during which the selected teams will participate in an intensive 12-hour marathon with expert mentorship and data integration, refining and developing the solutions to the problems they proposed. The solutions formed during the hackathon will be presented to the evaluation jury.
The total prize fund of the hackathon is 3,500,000 AMD, which will be awarded to the authors/teams of the 3 (three) best solutions.

Hack4Biodiversity is a starting platform for an innovative movement aimed at promoting the involvement of specialists and technological talents in the conservation and restoration of biodiversity using AI and digital innovation.

«AI4Biodiversity: AI Solutions for Nature» ազգային հեքըթոն 

«Քայթլաբ» գիտահաղորդակցման ընկերությունը, «Ձեռնարկությունների ինկուբատոր» հիմնադրամը (EIF) և «Կանայք կլիմայում և էներգետիկայում (WiCE)» ՀԿ-ն՝ ՀՀ շրջակա միջավայրի նախարարության հետ համագործակցությամբ համախմբում են ուժերը՝ համատեղ կազմակերպելու «AI4Biodiversity: AI Solutions for Nature» ազգային հեքըթոնը՝ նախապատրաստվելով 2026թ-ին Հայաստանում կայանալիք Կենսաբազմազանության մասին կոնվենցիայի կողմերի 17-րդ համաժողովին (COP17):

**💡 Ի գիտություն մասնակիցներին և այցելուներին՝**

Hackathon NGO-ն հանդես է եկել որպես Ձեռնարկությունների ինկուբատոր հիմնադրամի (EIF) գործընկեր՝ ապահովելով արհեստական բանականության (AI) թեմայով ուսուցողական բաղադրիչը և տրամադրելով մենթորություն մասնակիցներին AI և մեքենայական ուսուցման ոլորտում:

Հեքըթոնի շրջանակում նախատեսվում է միավորվել երիտասարդ գիտնականների, էկոլոգների, դիզայներների, ձեռնարկատերերի և արհեստական բանականություն կիրառելով՝ համատեղ աշխատել կենսաբազմազանության մոնիթորինգի, տեղական էկոհամակարգերի պաշտպանության, կլիմայական ռիսկերի կանխատեսման, գյուղատնտեսական կայուն լուծումների և համայնքային ներգրավվածության ուղղությամբ:

«AI4Biodiversity: AI Solutions for Nature» ազգային հեքըթոնին դիմել կարող են ոլորտում դրական փոփոխություն իրականացնելու ձգտումով անհատները, գիտական, հասարակական, մասնավոր հաստատությունների կամ հետաքրքրված անձանց կողմից ձևավորված խմբերը։ 

Հետաքրքրված անձանց և խմբերի հայտերն ընդունվում են մինչև սեպտեմբերի 21-ը։

«AI4Biodiversity: AI Solutions for Nature» ազգային հեքըթոնը բաղկացած է հետևյալ փուլերից.

- I փուլ՝ սեպտեմբերի 23-ից հոկտեմբերի 8-ը հայտատուները մասնակցում են 7 առցանց դասընթաց-աշխատարանների հետևյալ թեմաներով՝ Կենսաբազմազանություն և կենսաբազմազանության խնդիրներ, քաղաքականություն, արհեստական բանականության ներածություն և գործիքակազմերի ուսուցում, արհեստական բանականության և ստարտափ մտածելակերպի խթանում։

- II փուլ՝  հոկտեմբերի 9-ից 17-ը հեքըթոնի ազգային փուլի թիմերի ձևավորում, գրանցում և ընտրություն։ Ընտրված թիմերը կմասնակցեն ներկայացման (pitching)-ի և հանրային խոսքի  առցանց դասընթացի։

- III փուլ՝  հոկտեմբերի 25-ը՝ հեքըթոնի ազգային փուլ, որի ընթացքում  ընտրված թիմերը կմասնակցեն ինտենսիվ 12-ժամյա մարաթոնին՝ փորձագիտական մենթորությամբ ու տվյալների ինտեգրմամբ, լրամշակելով, զարգացնելով իրենց կողմից առաջադրված խնդրի լուծումները։ Հեքըթոնի ընթացքում ձևավորված լուծումները կներակայցվեն գնահատող ժյուրիին։
Հեքըթոնի ընդհանուր մրցանակային ֆոնդը 3,500,000 ՀՀ դրամ է, որը շնորհվելու է 3 (երեք) լավագույն լուծումների հեղինակներին/թիմերին։

Hack4Biodiversity-ը նորարար շարժման մեկնարկային հարթակ է, որի նպատակն է խթանել մասնագետների և տեխնոլոգիական տաղանդների ներգրավվածությունը կենսաբազմազանության պահպանության և վերականգնման գործում՝ կիրառելով ԱԲ և թվային նորարարություն:
